Daily schedule

Our daily schedule offers time for children to participate in both group activities and independent child choice activities.

Morning circle:

8:00 a.m.

Morning meeting is a time to greet everyone and start our day. Activities at morning meeting include children’s jobs, pledge of allegiance, calendar, weather, introduction of new letters and numbers of the week and introduce the days activities.

Child choice time:

8:10 a.m. – 8:25 a.m.

A variety of developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning in all areas of development, as well as a teacher facilitated activity.

Story time:

8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

The teacher reads a story to the class relative to the current curriculum.

Colouring Time:

9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

The teacher gives a coloring task to the class relative to the current curriculum.

Snack time:

9:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

Children can have their snacks/fruits brought from home.

Physical activity:

9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

Children participate in outdoors activities and in our indoor play area in cold or poor weather.

Quiet time:

10:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

A short rest time (fifteen minutes) in the classrooms while watching an inspirational short cartoon or listening to quiet music.

Lunch time:

11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Lunch is essential to our preschool program and is offered every day. We provide healthy and nutritional food to our preschool children.

Lessons & home work time:

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Teachers will follow given syllabus and teaches according to the syllabus. Homework will be given to the students on daily basis.

Goodbye:

12:00 p.m. – 12:05 p.m.

Children gather personal items, receive handouts, and wait at the front door for dispersal.
